Dr. Shaffer is originally from Texas. After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a Marketing degree, he worked in Houston for a few years in business. He graduated from Ross University School of Medicine, completed his internship at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, completed his radiology residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania where he was chief resident, and completed his neuroradiology fellowship in Chicago at Northwestern University. His clinical interests are in Neuroradiology, Neurovascular imaging and Emergency radiology.
Outside of work, Dr. Shaffer enjoys spending time with his family as well as traveling and golf.
