Dr. Alarhayem’s areas of special interest include limb salvage and complex peripheral vascular disease, aortic pathology, carotid disease, and dialysis access. He is excited to bring his unique surgical skillset to the region.
After completing his medical degree Magna Cum Laude, Dr. Alarhayem completed his general surgery residency at the University of Texas Health in San Antonio. He completed a Trauma research fellowship there in collaboration with the Institute of Surgical Research. He then completed his Fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Dr. Alarhayem has over 50 publications in peer review journals and book chapters.
Dr. Alarhayem is Board Certified in General and Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery, and a Fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
In his free time, Dr. Alarhayem enjoys hiking, barbequing, gaming, and spending time with his family.
